Getting to Straubing:

• The closest airports are Munich (MUC) and Nürnberg (NUE). From both airports, you can get to Straubing in about 2 hours by train. Alternatively, it takes over 4 hours by train from Stuttgart airport (STR) and Frankfurt airport (FRA).
• By car, Straubing can be reached via the federal highway B20 which is accessible from the highways A3 (Straubing) or A92 (Landau a. d. Isar).
• There are good train connections to Straubing. If you want to use public transportation from Munich to Straubing, you can either take the RE3 with a change in Plattling or the RE2/RE25 with a change in Neufahrn (i. NdB.).

Getting to the University:

• The university campus is located almost centrally in the city next to the Danube river, about 1.5 km from the train station.
• Walking from the train station to the university takes about 15-20 minutes and getting there by taxi takes about 5 minutes.
